An introduction to troubleshooting Parker solenoid valvesRelease Date: November 23, 2017
Troubleshooting Parker Solenoid Valves
The malfunction of the solenoid valve will directly affect the action of the switching valve and the regulating valve. Common failures include the solenoid valve not operating, which should be checked from the following aspects:
First, Parker solenoid valve does not work after power on
Check whether the power supply wiring is bad → reconnect the wiring and connector; check whether the power supply voltage is within the ± working range-→ adjust to the normal position range; whether the coil is desoldered → resolder;
Coil short-circuit → replace the coil;
Is the working pressure difference inappropriate? Adjust the pressure difference or replace the appropriate solenoid valve ; the fluid temperature is too high → replace the appropriate solenoid valve;
There are impurities that make the main valve core and moving iron core of the solenoid valve stuck → clean, if the seal is damaged, replace the seal and install a filter; the viscosity of the liquid is too high, the frequency is too high and the life has reached → replace the product.
Parker Parker solenoid valve cannot be closed
The seal of the main spool or iron moving core is damaged → replace the seal; whether the fluid temperature and viscosity are too high → replace the counterpart solenoid valve; foreign matter enters the solenoid valve to produce the spool or moving iron core → clean; the spring life has expired To or deformed → replace;
Throttle hole balance hole blocked → clean in time;
The operating frequency is too high or the service life has expired → change product or update product.
Third, other circumstances
Internal leakage → check whether the seal is damaged and the spring is not well assembled; external leakage → the connection is loose or the seal is broken → tighten the screw or replace the seal; there is noise when the power is on → the solid part on the head is loose and tightened. The voltage fluctuation is not within the allowable range. Adjust the voltage. Impurities or unevenness on the iron core suction surface, clean or replace in time.
