High pressure ball valve is mainly composed of upper valve stem, right valve body, cam, ball, key, valve seat, soft seal, lower valve stem, plate spring and left valve body. The valve uses a soft seal structure, because the tightness of the soft seal is easy to ensure, and the processing accuracy and surface roughness of the sealing surface are not high. The sealing part of the valve seat adopts carbon fiber reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene. The surrounding metal valve seat is used to fix the polytetrafluoroethylene, and the sealing part of the valve seat is designed to be about 0.5mm higher than the surrounding metal part. In this way, when the specific pressure of the valve seat greatly exceeds the allowable specific pressure of tetrafluoroethylene, the ball valve can still be used normally, and the sealed part of the valve seat is exposed rarely, which is not easy to damage and blow out. The valve adopts a plate spring structure, and its working principle is similar to that of a disc spring seat, which is characterized by a simple and compact structure. The manufacture of the leaf spring is simpler than the disc spring. If the valve has anti-corrosion requirements, it can be conveniently made of stainless steel.
However, in addition to the common problems with other valves, the design of high-pressure ball valves has two difficulties to be solved: one is to ensure that the seat under high pressure is squeezed by a large pressure, and it is difficult to ensure the sealing performance under long life; high pressure The operating torque of opening the valve during work is large, the operator's switching is inconvenient, and the cost of installing the actuator also increases a lot.
