Classification and installation of stainless steel check valve

Release Date: June 05, 2017

There are many types of stainless steel check valves , such as swing-type, lift-type, vertical type, etc. Each product has the same purpose and is to prevent the medium from flowing back, but the working principle and structure are different. Stainless steel check valves are classified into swing check valves (horizontal check valves), lift check valves, vertical check valves, wafer check valves, flange check valves, threaded check valves , Butterfly check valve, muffler check valve and other products. Stainless steel check valves are made of 301, 304, 316, 316L, two-way steel, etc. The corrosion resistance characteristics of various materials are different. Stainless steel check valve is suitable for chemical, food and other fields. It has good anti-corrosion performance, high temperature resistance, cleanliness and sanitation.

The shape of the vertical check valve is like a bucket. The valve disc is an automatic valve that slides along the vertical centerline of the valve body. When the medium enters, the valve disc is automatically moved along the axis by pressure and automatically opens. At this time, the valve flap is automatically closed by the return pressure of the medium. The vertical check valve can only be installed vertically, not horizontally.

Swing check valve can also be called horizontal check valve, which can only be installed horizontally. The valve disc adopts a built-in swing-arm swing-type structure. The valve disc and the pin are installed inside the valve body, do not penetrate the valve body, there is no external leakage point as a whole, which prevents the possibility of medium leakage. The swinging check valve rocker arm and valve disc adopt a spherical connection structure, so that the valve disc has a certain range within 360 degrees, with appropriate position compensation. When the medium enters the valve, the valve flap is automatically swung up by the pressure. When the pressure returns to zero, the valve flap automatically closes when the medium returns.
