In fact, the stainless steel ball valve can be closed tightly with only 90 degrees of rotation and a small torque. The completely equal valve body cavity provides a low resistance, straight flow channel for the medium. Stainless steel ball valves can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, muds, oils, liquid metals and radioactive media. Having a long service life and maintenance-free period will depend on several factors: normal operating conditions, maintaining a harmonious temperature / pressure ratio, and reasonable corrosion data.

Temperature and pressure limits

The maximum operating pressure of stainless steel ball valves at the maximum and minimum operating temperatures. Use PTFE or RTFE seat and seal, the operating temperature should be between -290C to 2000C. The operating temperatures of other types of valve seats and seals shall be subject to inspection by the KI factory.

2.Nominal pressure level (PN)

The nominal pressure level (PN) of the stainless steel ball valve can indicate the maximum working pressure of the valve under normal temperature conditions. (For example: PN4.0, indicating that the maximum working pressure is -40 Bar (4.0 MPa) when the operating temperature is -290C to 380C)

3. Machine test

During installation, please do not use the actuator part of the valve as a lifting point to avoid damage to the actuator and accessories. Before installation, the whole machine should be tested according to the specified signal (electricity or gas) (to prevent the use performance from being affected by vibration due to transportation), and it can be installed online after passing the test.
